WATCH

Mari belajar tentang bagaimana cara menyatakan waktu dalam bahasa Inggris.
Catatan :
Use o'clock only at the full hour.
Example: 7:00 - seven o'clock (but 7:10 - ten past seven)

In English ordinary speech, the twelve-hour clock is used.
Beispiel: 17:20 - twenty past five
For times around midnight or midday you can use the expressions midnight or midday / noon instead of the number 12.
Beispiel: 00:00 - midnight
Beispiel: 12:00 - midday or noon

To make clear (where necessary) whether you mean a time before 12 o'clock noon or after, you can use in the morning, in the afternoon, in the evening, at night. Use in the morning before 12 o'clock noon, after 12 o'clock noon use in the afternoon. When to change from afternoon to evening, from evening to night and from night to morning depends on your sense of time.
Example: 3:15 - a quarter past three in the morning OR a quarter past three at night

More formal expressions to indicate whether a time is before noon or after are a.m.
(also: am - ante meridiem, before noon) and p.m. (also: pm - post meridiem, after noon). Use these expression only with the formal way of telling the time.
Example: 3:15 - three fifteen a.m.
It is not usual to use a.m. and p.m. with past/to.
Example: 3:15 - fifteen minutes past three OR a quarter past three
American English

Beside past Americans often use after.
Example: 06:10 - ten past/after six
But: in time expressions with half past it is not usual to replace past by after.

Beside to Americans often use before, of or till.
Example: 05:50 - ten to/before/of/till six

Conditional Sentences

Sesi kali ini, marilah belajar kalimat pengandaian dalam bahasa Inggris.

Conditional Sentences / If-Clauses Type I, II und III
Conditional Sentences are also known as Conditional Clauses or If Clauses. They are used to express that the action in the main clause (without if) can only take place if a certain condition (in the clause with if) is fulfilled. There are three types of Conditional Sentences.

Conditional Sentence Type 1
→ It is possible and also very likely that the condition will be fulfilled.
Form: if + Simple Present, will-Future
Example: If I find her address, I’ll send her an invitation.
more on Conditional Sentences Type I

Conditional Sentence Type 2
→ It is possible but very unlikely, that the condition will be fulfilled.
Form: if + Simple Past, Conditional I (= would + Infinitive)
Example: If I found her address, I would send her an invitation.
more on Conditional Sentences Type II

Conditional Sentence Type 3
→ It is impossible that the condition will be fulfilled because it refers to the past.
Form: if + Past Perfect, Conditional II (= would + have + Past Participle)
Example: If I had found her address, I would have sent her an invitation

Bagaimana contoh bentuk Simple Present Tense ???

Ini dia rumus jitu nya :
subject + auxiliary verb + main verb
do base

Ada 3 Pengecualian :

1. For positive sentences, we do not normally use the auxiliary.
2. For the 3rd person singular (he, she, it), we add s to the main verb or es to the auxiliary.
3. For the verb to be, we do not use an auxiliary, even for questions and negatives.

Look at these examples with the main verb like:
subject auxiliary verb main verb
+ I, you, we, they like coffee.
He, she, it likes coffee.
- I, you, we, they do not like coffee.
He, she, it does not like coffee.
? Do I, you, we, they like coffee?
Does he, she, it like coffee?

Look at these examples with the main verb be. Notice that there is no auxiliary:
subject main verb
+ I am French.
You, we, they are French.
He, she, it is French.
- I am not old.
You, we, they are not old.
He, she, it is not old.
? Am I late?
Are you, we, they late?
Is he, she, it late?
How do we use the Simple Present Tense?

Kapan Simple Present Tense digunakan ?

* the action is general
* the action happens all the time, or habitually, in the past, present and future
* the action is not only happening now
* the statement is always true

John drives a taxi.
past present future
It is John's job to drive a taxi. He does it every day. Past, present and future.

Look at these examples:

* I live in New York.
* The Moon goes round the Earth.
* John drives a taxi.
* He does not drive a bus.
* We meet every Thursday.
* We do not work at night.
* Do you play football?

Note that with the verb to be, we can also use the simple present tense for situations that are not general. We can use the simple present tense to talk about now. Look at these examples of the verb "to be" in the simple present tense - some of them are general, some of them are now:
Am I right?
Tara is not at home.
You are happy.
past present future
The situation is now.

I am not fat.
Why are you so beautiful?
Ram is tall.
past present future
The situation is general. Past, present and future.

surat balasan untuk calon ibu...

Assalamualaikum,..Wr ..Wb…….

Sebelum saya terus menggores kata dalam tulisan ini..
ijinkan lah saya memperkenalkan diri terlebih dahulu
duhai calon ibu mertuaku,…..

Duhai, Calon ibu mertuaku….

merelakan..................

Harus banyak tersenyum malam ini......................
Merelakan waktu lalu yang ternyata sia-sia.
Merelakan kesempatan yang ternyata bukan milik saya.
Merelakan kenyamanan yang ternyata sementara.
Merelakan kekecewaan yang ternyata petunjuk-Nya.
Not easy,but, must be forced.
Kebaikan, keburukan seberat zarah pun akan diperhitungkan.

Aku Tak Ingin Menjadi Pelangi

Ya Rabb, If U permitteth that I'm something right, so I wouldn't be rainbow, although it is beautifull. Because nobody can catch me. I just want to be a pure water that could washed him when ''wudhu''.
Ya Tuhan, jika Engkau mengizinkan aku ini sesuatu yang baik, maka aku tidak ingin menjadi pelangi, meskipun itu sangatlah indah. Karena tak seorang pun dapat menangkap dan memilikiku. Aku hanya ingin menjadi air yang murni yang dapat membasuh 'dia' ketika wudhu.
